If MC wants someone to do a favour for them, all they have to do is go hug the character's arm, catch them off guard. Muster up the sweetest expression they can make and bat their pretty eyelashes at his questioning gaze and whisper out their wishes to him. And they're putty in your arms despite how smug they look. It works against even the difficult ones like Barbatos, Lucifer or Belphie. They WILL give into it. I guarantee it 100%. The easiest ones are, you guessed it Mammon, Levi and Beelzebub.

Because you're the lover of the highest ranking of demons and the apprentice of the strongest sorcerer known to mankind, people would think you're dangerous and violent at first.
But in reality, you don't like violence, in fact, you loath it. That's why the angels love you, you know how to protect yourself without causing harm to the other person.
But the fact that makes the angels love you scares the demons and the sorcerer.
That's right, you don't kill, but you cast spells to people that harms you spells that makes them wish you just kill them, that's terrifying.

Imagine that Luke, after returning to the Celestial Realm, tells the angels of his age that Devildom is not so bad, that is a very different place but that it has good things and that, although there are evil demons, not all of them are like that and there are some who are incredibly kind (although he will never admit that in front of them).
His companions don't believe it, and he insists that there is a demon who helps him a lot, who makes sure that he is well, that nobody bothers him, who always accepts to do activities with him, and the best of all is that he helps him to bake and has taught him a lot of new recipes and techniques, adding that he is always patient and corrects and encourages him even if he makes mistakes.
Little Angel: *skeptical* Yes? and who could this demon be?
Luke: Barbatos.
The wing feathers of their companions snorted when they heard the name of the one who controls time, the fearsome demon who serves the prince of hell. "You're crazy", "that's a lie", the young angels couldn't believe it, and Luke didn't understand why.
Nor did he understand Barbatos' smile when he told him the story, the butler seemed very pleased.
Luke: I don't understand why they reacted like that, I know how powerfull Barbatos is, but...
Mc: *grinning* Who knows, Barbatos is a sweetheart.
Barbatos: *chuckles* It's a mystery.
What Luke didn't know is that he is one of the privileged people who had won the affection of the fearsome demon.

Obey Me! Side Characters Accidentally Hurting Mc
I had ONE person ask for the dateables so here ya go! Not the best at writing them but Iâll do my best! No Luke I donât wanna see him sad đ
Diavolo
Lucifer tasked you with delivering some papers for Diavolo to sign
Barbatos greets you at the castle doors, telling you heâs in his office
Meanwhile, Diavolo just had the best idea for a new school event he wants to have
He throws the doors of his office open in excitement ready to tell Barbatos about his idea
âŠthe second your right behind it ready to knock
The force sends you and the papers to the floor
It takes him a second to realize what happens before he absolutely freaks out
âOh my goodness! MC! Are you alright???â
He thinks heâs killed you, or broken a bone, or both or anything terrible that could happen to a human
Heâs on the ground with his hands on your shoulders
Meanwhile your giggling, telling him your fine and to calm down
When he sees your fine, he pulls you into a bear hug
âThank the stars your okayâ
Barbatos
Your helping Barb cook in the castle
Heâs trying out a new dish you showed him from the human world
As your chopping the vegetables, heâs called to help Diavolo with something, so you tell him itâs fine and continue with the recipe
While heâs gone, you find yourself in your own little world, doing a recipe youâve done so many times
You donât notice when he walks back in the kitchen and he thinks you do
He walks up behind you, admiring your work
âHave you finished chopping?â
His words startle you, causing you to drop the knife your holding onto your hand, slicing it
Immediately he grabs your hand and spins you around so your facing him, inspecting your wound ïżŒ
âApologies MC, I thought you heard me, and now look at you.. weâve got to get this cleaned upâ
Before you can even think, heâs got you sitting on the counter with a first aid kit bandaging your hand.. looking very apologetic might I add
You have to tell him your fine a million times before he believes you.. at least you think he does
Once heâs done patching you up he kisses your hand where the bandage is đđ
Simeon
Your partners in a project at RAD so your at the library with him sorting through books to help you study
Heâs on the ladder handing down the books while you set them on the table
On the last set of books Simeon loses his balance
Sending you, him, and the books to the floor
He manages to catch himself before fully landing on you but the book he was holding hits you square in the face
âOh MC! Are you alright?â
His hands are on your face, checking to see any injuries
Your blushing and stammering out that your okay
Finally the realization hits him. Heâs on top of you, your face is so closeâŠ
He sits up, looking away but you can see his cheeks are RED
He helps you back to your feet
While you guys continue to study after, you canât help but notice how he looks at you and how he blushes when he looks away
Solomon
As his apprentice, helping him with his experiments and potions is a regular thing for you too
So when he asked you to come over and help him with his latest potion, you agreed
Everything was going according to his plan, this was gonna turn out amazing!
They were just about done, all of the sleepless nights of working on this project will finally be completed
âMC, could you put the contents of that container into the cauldron?â He says across the room, checking his spellbook
Unbeknownst to the two of you, Solomon mislabeled the contents of that certain ingredient in his tireless haze to finish the potion
That mistake had big consequences, as soon as you added some of it, the contents of the cauldron exploded, sending the scalding potion to burn your hand hovering over the pot
He was quick enough to send a protection spell so the potion didnât spray over your entire body, but not quick enough to keep you fully unharmed
He quickly ran to you, inspecting your hand with gentle hands looking completely baffled at what just happened as were you
When he realizes his mistake heâs incredibly sorrowful. His own negligence caused his favorite person to get harmed
âIâm so sorry MC, my poor judgment caused you so much pain. I hope you can forgive me.â
Luckily, being the worlds greatest sorcerer came with his perks. Before the pain can set in too bad, he chants a spell until your hand returns back to its normal state before the incident
Afterwards, your in charge of reading the spell book while he deals with the potion. At least if he messes up again you wonât be hurt.
Definitely tryâs to cheer you up by teaching you some spells youâve been wanting to learn
âAll right my little apprentice, since youâve been good how about I teach you that illusion spell youâve been so excited about huh?â
I mayyy have been drinking when I first made this and forgot to add Solomon. But here he is! In my defense my phone froze and deleted most of this before I could upload and I had to rewrite everything. So sorry but heâs here now!
Hope yâall like it! Got a lil spicy with Simeon there at the end but I just canât help it đ«
Comments are appreciated! Always trying to improve on my writing!

Random scenario I thought of-
Imagine an MC getting babysat by Barbatos (not a child, I feel like MC needs to be babysat sometimes⊠just like the brothersâŠ) and itâs the middle of winter. MC and Barbatos are outside, with MC playing in the snow. Barbatos is giving a small smile to MC when they try to get him to play in it with him.
âMC, what do you mean by wanting me toâŠ. âplay in the snowâ?â
*MC laying down absolutely covered in snow*
âJust roll in it like me!â
âRoll in it?âŠ. HeheâŠ. Very well, I suppose itâs beneficial to âlet looseâ once in a while.â
*Barbatos proceeds to flop face first into the snow.*

MC: Hey, Barbatos. Can you stop time?
Barbatos: Why do you ask?
MC: Iâm exhausted and I really need to take a nap for a few hours, but I have too much going on.
Barbatos: I fear it would be quite irresponsible of me to stop the flow of time so that you may nap, MC.
MC: What if you took a nap with me?
Barbatos: I am not Belphegor. Iâm afraid that tactic will not work on me.
MC: *sighing in disappointment* Okay. I'll ask Solomon. He might know a spell or something. And he'll definitely agree to nap with me.
Barbatos: âŠ
Moments later, Barbatos found himself in his bed with MC cuddled up against him, snoozing peacefully. He mentally scolded himself for giving in so easily while his arms and tail tightened around MC protectively.

Unpredictable
Requested By: @beawesome04
Summary: The brothers and dateables reactions to an MC whose magic is hard to control and tends to have unpredictable consequences when they use it. The Seven Demons Brothers x Reader Diavolo, Barbatos, Simeon, & Solomon x Reader Word Count: 6,560
Solomon had promised you that everything would be alright when he first suggested teaching you magic.
Solomon was clearly a renowned sorcerer so you believed that he would be an excellent teacher in the matter.
But, Solomon was a very unpredictable person, and as such his magic lessons tended to be a bit unpredictable as well.
He had asked you to summon one of the brothers as a test of your ability, swearing that it would be a simple summoning spell.
You wanted to choose which brother you summoned with your pact, but that choice wasnât given to you as all of the brothers seemed to be doing something at the current moment.
The only one who wasnât busy was the strictest one - Lucifer.
You did everything you could to try to persuade Solomon to let you skip the lesson on summoning for now, but he refused to back down.
Before you knew it, you were saying the chant to summon the firstborn.
You swore you said and did everything correctly and when Lucifer suddenly appeared in front of you, you were relieved that you had done it.
But, that relief quickly faded when you took a better look at Lucifer.
He had a bewildered look on his face, clearly confused as to why he was just summoned, but more than that, most of his features had changed color.
His skin color, eye color, and hair color matched yours to the exact shade.Â
You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion as Solomon stifled his laughter from beside you.
You hoped that you could fix the situation before Lucifer saw what had happened but luck once again proved to not be on your side as you noticed a mirror conveniently placed in the room.
As soon as Lucifer saw himself in the mirror, his expression changed to one of anger and you could tell he was holding back one of his infamous lectures.
He was the one who encouraged you to work with Solomon on your magic so he could hardly be upset if things didnât go right the first time, but changing his appearance was also not something he could tolerate.
âIâll fix it, I promise!â you swore, coming up next to Lucifer who was now standing in front of the mirror.
You let out a small gasp as you came to the mirror, realizing that not only did Lucifer have your colored features, but you had his. Your hair was as dark as a ravenâs and your eyes as red as blood.
Lucifer couldnât help but take in your appearance as well, noting that under better circumstances, your appearance matching his own would drive him absolutely crazy.
Solomonâs chuckle brought Lucifer back to reality and he turned to look at the sorcerer.
Lucifer demanded Solomon to fix this mess and once that was done, Lucifer made sure to give you both a good lecture on the intricacies of magic and the consequences of doing it improperly.
Of course, you didnât end up in any real trouble, but he did make you promise not to summon him again unless it was a real emergency.
Mammonâs experience with your unpredictable magic was entirely his own fault.
You had tried explaining to him on multiple different occasions that you were not fully trained and that you were still learning how to control your magic.
You only knew a few basic spells and you hadnât even learned how to perfect those yet.
But, as usual, when Mammon had something on his mind, everything went in one ear and out the other.
And, your inexperience in magic was no exception.
Mammon had come up with a brilliant idea to use your magic to help him cheat at the casino so that he could âwin bigâ.
Everything about the scheme seemed like a terrible idea, so naturally you declined.
But, Mammon was persistent and begged you to help him until you caved.
The casino wasnât the regular one that Mammon went to. This one was on a nice ship and it was one that was only passing through.
It was perfect because even if they caught Mammon cheating, they wouldnât be around past that one night.
You sat at the bar while Mammon went to the tables to play. He thought that if the two of you were standing next to each other the entire time, it would be easier to spot that he was cheating.
You had no expectations of this working, but you gave it your best shot anyway.
All you had to do was change the cards in Mammonâs hand to ones that he could win with.
You chanted a spell quietly under your breath and then watched intensely as Mammon turned over the cards in his hands, revealing a winning hand.Â
You let out a small chuckle, surprised at the results and Mammon looked at you from the table, a happy-go-lucky smile on his face as he sent you a wink.
You continued to say the same spell, and to your surprise, Mammon was gathering a large sum of money. Everything was going well.
âHey, are you using magic?â you heard someone say as they roughly grabbed your arm, making you snap your eyes open.
Magic was strictly prohibited at the casino because people could easily use it to cheat.
You were trying to come up with a reasonable excuse when you felt a familiar hand grab yours and pull you towards him.
âTime to run!â Mammon told you, pulling you past people, his winnings tucked into his arm as he held onto them for dear life.
âYouâve gotta use your magic to block âem!â Mammon told you, noticing a few of the security detail closing in on the two of you.Â
You meant to move the furniture around to block the path after the two of you, but instead, you sent the furniture flying in every which way.
You heard people screaming and running as they tried to dodge the flying tables and chairs that were now putting holes into the walls of the ship. âWhoops,â you said under your breath.
âWatch out!â Mammon yelled. You turned to look in front of you and noticed someone almost grabbed you.
You moved your hand in panic and watched as the demon went flying overboard. âSorry!â you shouted after him.
âWeâre gonna have to jump. Can you make a boat?â Mammon asked, not waiting for you to answer before jumping off the ship and bringing you along.
A yacht would have done or even a canoe or a raft, but it seemed the more panicked you were, the more unpredictable your magic was.
Suddenly, a massive pirate ship appeared out of thin air and you hit the deck with a small thud as you felt like you could finally breathe again.
Somehow, the ship was steering itself away from the casino ship, but you werenât about to start asking questions.
You let out a small breath of relief and you heard Mammon suddenly burst into laughter beside you. âYour magic - is really - somethinâ,â he told you, nearly crying from laughing so hard.
You gave him a playful smack but couldnât help but smile at how hard he was laughing.
Next time, you were going to make sure you were fully in control before agreeing to use your magic.
Levi was not one that liked to get in trouble with Lucifer.
Typically, he just tried to keep his head down and do his own thing.
As long as he could be a proper otaku, he was okay.
He didnât feel the need to get you involved in schemes like his other brothers did.
In fact, he had made a promise to himself to never make you use your magic unless it was an absolute emergency.
And those last six words were key in his promise.
Because an incredibly rare new Ruri-chan figurine had just been released and it was going at an unbelievably fast rate for an incredibly high price.
Normally, Levi would have money saved up for this precise situation, but he had lent some to Mammon, mostly to get him to stop asking, and his older brother hadnât paid him back yet.
Of course, Levi had done everything from begging and pleading to threatening Mammon to get his money back, but there was no money to give.
So, with no one else to turn to for help, he went to his true friend.
He would never beg you for money like a certain scumbag.
Instead, he just wanted you to use your magic to help him get one of the figurines.
He figured between his hacking skills and your magic, there was no way the two of you wouldnât be able to swindle one.
You reluctantly agreed to help Levi, knowing how much it meant to him to get the figurine.
You didnât know exactly what spell you were supposed to say, but you followed Leviâs lead.
He clearly had a plan and nothing would stop him from executing it.
You did as Levi asked and held your breath as you stared at the computer screen.
âThank you for your purchase,â soon popped up on the screen and Levi let out a shout of triumph while you let out a breath of relief. Finally, your magic went the right way.
Suddenly a loud spark sounded from the computer and you and Levi shared an uneasy look. Spoke too soon.
The spark was followed by multiple smaller ones and then suddenly Leviâs entire computer was on fire.
âWhat do we do?â you asked Levi who was panicking at the thought of his entire setup going up in flames.
âDo a water spell,â he replied, his eyes wide, the fire reflecting off them.
âI donât think thatâs a good idea,â you replied, looking at the consequences of the magic you had just performed.
The flames grew even larger, threatening to burn everything in sight; and, in an attempt to save his otaku haven, Levi did the only thing he thought was logical - he summoned Lotan.
And while it did stop the fire from spreading, summoning Lotan once again flooded the House of Lamentation.
Lucifer immediately knew the source. After all, there was only one brother who summoned Lotan.
Levi got his rare figurine, but you and Levi had to sit through an incredibly long lecture from Lucifer about using magic properly and not doing it for something as simple as a doll.
And after he said that, you had to listen to an even longer lecture from Levi, explaining to Lucifer how the figure he bought wasnât a doll.
Satan was someone who was quite skilled in magic.
He studied spells and curses religiously, always trying to find one to use against Lucifer.
And because of his studying, he knew a lot about training someone in magic as well.
After all, he taught himself almost everything he knew about it.
And, Satan was having a hard time controlling his rage when it came to you and Solomon.
He knew that Solomon was only training you in magic, but in his opinion, the two of you were spending way too much time together.
And the fact that the two of you were always alone together with no one to keep Solomon in check drove Satan crazy.
So, he decided to take some of your training upon himself.
Naturally, you were grateful for the opportunity. After all, everyone knew how talented Satan was in everything he did.
Not to mention, there were a few other times Satan had tutored you in other subjects. So you were sure he would be an excellent teacher of magic.
He would never tell you this, but Satan wore a smug smile the whole day you agreed to let him teach you.
He was just hoping Solomon would ask him why Satan was smiling.
The two of you agreed to meet in one of the magic classrooms after school. They would already have any spellbooks or ingredients the two of you needed and they were well-built in case something went wrong.
You sat down at one of the desks and began reading one of the spellbooks.
Satan sat down next to you, taking a peek at what you were reading. âHas Solomon been teaching you a lot of spells?â he asked.
You looked up from your book and softly shook your head no. âNot really, heâs more of the experiment and see what happens type than following spells in a spellbook,â you replied.
Satan let out a small chuckle before saying, âFor someone just learning magic, the results must be a bit unpredictable.â
You chuckled in response before nodding your head and telling him, âYou have no idea.â
Satan then gently took the spellbook from you and began flipping through it.
You leaned in a bit closer, taking a look over his shoulder as he skimmed through the pages, looking for the perfect spell.
âHere, this one is simple,â Satan told you and you read through it briefly.
It was simple candle magic. All you had to do was light a candle.
Satan got the candle and placed it in front of you and you followed the spell exactly how it was written in the spellbook.
You closed your eyes to focus and then opened them again to light the candle.
Instead of lighting the candle, you managed to create a large fireball that flew through the classroom and burned a hole in the wall in front of you.
You winced at the damage and then turned to look at Satan who was staring at the hole with wide eyes, temporarily at a loss for words.
You were getting more and more anxious the longer Satan remained silent, unsure if he was going to laugh, get angry, or give you a long lecture.
After another moment, Satan took in a deep breath before locking eyes with you and telling you, âNo more training with Solomon.â
You let out a small sigh, once again taking in the destruction you caused before replying, âFair enough.â
Because Asmo and Solomon had a strong friendship, it was common for Asmo to be at your magic lessons.
He usually wasnât listening to what you were being taught. Instead, he would do his nails in the background or start planning his next social media video.
Of course, he would take intermittent breaks from doing his own things to be your own personal cheerleader, encouraging you as much as he could.
And if you were ever starting to get tired, Asmo would be the first to tell Solomon the lesson was over for the day because you needed rest.
Because Asmo was hanging around the two of you often, it also made him the perfect test subject.
Today, you were working a potion to bring someone good luck and fortune.
Solomon had been a little lenient on the ingredients that you were using, wanting to see if you would be able to create the potion on your own, using your own intuition.
You were completely against the idea but Solomon swore that you wouldnât be able to do magic on your own if you didnât learn how to be independent with it instead of following a spellbook.
His logic made some sense, but you were also beyond nervous.Â
All you had to do was make the potion and then get Asmo to drink it.
Asmo, having not listened to what was going on, was more than happy to try your potion, accepting it as a gift from you.
You watched in anticipation as Asmo downed the mysterious liquid.
Asmo let out a small cough after drinking it, telling you, âIt has a good kick to it.â
You held your breath as a pink mist slowly surrounded Asmo and in the blink of an eye, Asmo was no longer standing there.
In his place, on the ground, sat a beautifully made wicked cupcake.
Solomon took a step closer before crouching down and examining the cupcake, letting out a quiet sound of questioning.
âWhat were you thinking about when you made the potion?â Solomon asked you, glancing up at you from his spot on the ground.
âI was thinking about what you told me. In order to make a good potion of fortune, you have to think of the person you intend on giving the potion to and what would bring them fortune,â you replied.
âWhat do you think would make Asmo more fortunate?â Solomon questioned curiously.
âBeing more irresistible,â you answered.
âAs irresistible as a wicked cupcake?â Solomon asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked at you, a hint of a smile on his face.
You let out a small gasp as you realized you had turned your friend into a cupcake.
âIs it reversible?â you asked Solomon and he nodded his head, standing up to his original position.
Solomon chanted a spell quietly and you watched as Asmo slowly morphed back into himself.
When he was fully back, you and his locked eyes, and you immediately began apologizing.
Asmo stopped you after your third apology and told you, âHow about we just save your potions for Mammon from now on, âkay?â
You were in your bedroom, studying hard for an upcoming exam when there was suddenly a knock on your door.
You invited the person in without getting up or even looking up from your book.
So, it wasnât until they were sitting down next to you that you were able to see who it was.
A small smile formed on your lips as you saw the orange-haired Avatar of Gluttony sitting there with an unusually large pouty look on his face.
âAre you okay?â you asked him and his big puppy dog eyes looked up at you as he shook his head no.
âI ate everything in the fridge and Lucifer said that I couldnât eat anymore until dinner,â Beel replied.
âWell, dinner is just in a couple of hours. You should be fine, right?â you questioned, and Beel let out a small sigh.
âI worked out twice as hard today to get ready for the big game. So, my appetite is twice as big and I only had half the amount of food I usually would post-workout,â Beel explained.
As if to confirm what Beel was saying, his stomach let out an unnaturally loud growl and Beel winced slightly in pain from the hunger.
âIâm sorry Beel, if I had any snacks in here, I would give them to you,â you told him and he let out another sigh as his mind began turning.
âMaybe you could make a snack appear,â Beel suggested, his eyes lighting up at the idea.
You immediately understood where he was going with this and you shook your head, âI donât know if thatâs a good idea.â
âPlease, it could be something small. Just to help me last until dinner,â Beel begged you, desperation shining in those big eyes.Â
You fully intended to stay away from magic today and just focus on your actual studies, but how could you say no to him when he was begging you so wholeheartedly?Â
You took a moment to prepare yourself before doing a spell, and Beel watched your every move eagerly.
Once the spell was completed, you were expecting a small meal on the table, or at the most a couple of things.
Instead, your entire room was covered from floor to ceiling in food.
Beelâs eyes widened in excitement as he told you, âYouâre the best at magic.â
He immediately got to eating, and you let out a small chuckle. Of all the consequences that came from your magic, this wasnât too bad - as long as Beel ate all of it before Lucifer found out.
Suddenly, you heard a lot of commotion coming from elsewhere in the House of Lamentation. You and Beel stayed quiet to try and focus on the noises you were hearing.
Only then did you realize the other brothers were shouting about how the entire House of Lamentation had been filled with food.
You and Beel shared a look of panic as you heard a familiar set of footsteps coming your way and you knew that another long lecture was just around the corner.
Belphie liked to be a little more hands-on with his magic than simple spells.
But desperate times called for desperate measures.
He and Satan were up to true Anti-Lucifer League business and they had found the perfect spell to try and prank Lucifer with.Â
Belphie gathered all the ingredients and it was up to Satan to actually perform the spell since he was more proficient when it came to magic.
Somehow, like always, Lucifer had caught wind that the two of them were up to something and Lucifer had decided to lock Satan in his room for the time being under the pretense that, âHe was too busy right now to have to deal with something childish.â
This naturally only made Belphie and Satan even more angry and now they were hellbent on finding some way to get revenge.Â
Belphie still had all of the ingredients and so he approached you - someone who was both in the Anti-Lucifer League and learning magic.
You were already treading in deep water with Lucifer because of your previous magic mishaps.Â
You were pretty sure that you were one more mistake from him banning you from using magic ever again.
So, the last thing you wanted to do was use a spell that specifically targeted the eldest.
But, Belphie was very convincing and before you knew it, the two of you were in the Assembly Hall, quietly scheming.
The spell itself was simple enough to cast. All you had to was put the ingredients together and then cast it on the intended victimâs chair.Â
Then, when that person sat in the chair, vines would slowly wrap around them, entrapping them in the chair.
You had suggested that you perform the spell on the chair in Luciferâs study but Belphie thought it would be so much funnier if it happened in front of Lord Diavolo.
This left the two of you trying to quickly get this spell done in the Assembly Room because Diavolo and Lucifer could walk in any second.
âThatâs all of the ingredients,â Belphie told you and you nodded your head, knowing it was your turn now.
You began chanting the spell and everything was going smoothly.
Right as you were stating the last part of the spell, you suddenly heard voices outside the door of the Assembly Hall.
You faltered at the idea of being caught, and in that moment you had turned away from the chair slightly as you finished the spell.
Suddenly, you heard a strangled shout from Belphie and immediately looked in his direction, only to find that you were already facing him.Â
You realized you had cast the spell at him, and instead of a chair turning into vines and trapping him, they came down from the ceiling, wrapping him up and suspending him from the roof and covering his mouth.
You let out a small gasp, somewhat stifling some laughter as you watched the youngest squirm in the air, doing whatever he could to get out of his restraints.
You didnât have enough time to help him before you heard the door to the Assembly Hall open and you quickly hid, knowing that it wouldnât do either of you any good if you got caught.
You covered your mouth to stay silent and you listened as Barbatos, Diavolo, and Lucifer all seemed to be in conversation.Â
All conversation stopped though the moment they laid eyes on Belphie, helplessly strung up from the ceiling.
Lucifer let out a long sigh as he stared at his brother before sitting down in his chair.
âShouldnât we help him?â Diavolo asked but Lucifer shook his head.
âThis is his own fault, Iâm sure of it. Letâs continue with the meeting,â Lucifer replied and you once again had to stifle your laughter at the thought of Belphie hanging from the air, slightly swinging with a look of rage on his face as he attempted to curse Lucifer.
Diavolo had heard about your unfortunate magic mishaps from Lucifer a few different times.
And every time, Diavolo laughed wholeheartedly as Lucifer explained exactly what happened.
He found it both amusing and endearing that your magic was so unpredictable.
And he had to admit he was starting to feel a little left out that everyone was getting to have such fun experiences with you except him.
He wanted a chance to experience your magic for himself, so he invited you over to the Demon Lordâs Castle.
He told you that he simply wanted to evaluate your progress in magic, even though he had gotten plenty of progress reports from the eldest demon brother.
He invited you into one of the many rooms of the Demon Lordâs Castle.
Despite most of the rooms being completely furnished, this room was nearly empty - perfect for magical misfires.
He tried to remind himself to breathe as you began performing a spell, waiting on the edge of his seat for what was about to happen.
There was something exciting about not knowing what events were about to occur.
Diavolo asked you to perform a simple teleportation spell.
You tried and tried, but every time you opened your eyes, you and Diavolo were still in the Demon Lordâs Castle.
You let out a sigh after the fifth attempt and Diavolo gave you a supporting smile.
âMaybe some fresh air will help,â Diavolo suggested, motioning for you to follow him.Â
You nodded your head and followed him to the door of the castle, but when he opened it, you realized that none of the surroundings outside looked normal.
Diavolo froze for a moment, noticing the same thing you did, and as he tried to piece together where the two of you were, you realized that the teleportation spell did work.
But, instead of teleporting the two of you like you were supposed to, you teleported the entire castle.
You held your breath as you waited for Diavolo to say something, and when he didnât, you were afraid he was mad at you.
You were about to ask him as much when he started laughing. It started as a small chuckle, but by the end of it, he was practically doubled over from laughing so hard.
âThis is fantastic,â you heard him mutter under his breath before he turned to you, closing the door.
âTry and get us back to the Devildom,â Diavolo told you.Â
You took in a deep breath, before reciting the spell, silently praying that it would work.Â
Praying - that was a mistake.
As Diavolo opened the door again, you realized that you recognized your surroundings this time, but it wasnât the Devildom. It was the Celestial Realm.
Diavolo seemed a bit concerned as he looked around. âWe should leave here immediately,â Diavolo stated, shutting the door and letting out a small sigh.
Your hands shook slightly as you realized the mistake of bringing the ruler of the Devildom to the Celestial Realm and you quickly recited the spell again, desperate to get out of there.
This time, when Diavolo opened the door, you heard a terrible screeching followed by a large fireball flying toward you and Diavolo.
He quickly shut the door, barely saving both of your lives and you chanted the spell one last time.
You let out a deep breath of relief as you saw the usual Devildom surrounding you when Diavolo opened the door this time.Â
âIâm not doing that ever again,â you told him, feeling like you had just gone ten rounds in a boxing ring.
Diavolo let out another chuckle, a smile resting on his face as he looked at you. He clearly enjoyed himself.
He didnât get the chance to enjoy himself much and he noticed that whenever he did, you were always somewhat involved.
âWith more training, Iâm sure youâll get your powers under control,â Diavolo reassured you.
He wasnât mad at you, but he also probably wouldnât ask you to use your magic again until youâve had a bit more practice.
A trip to the Celestial Realm and nearly getting incinerated was enough excitement to last him for a while.
Diavolo may not have been mad at what happened, but Barbatos certainly was.
He wasnât mad at you - he could never be mad at you.
But, he was mad at Lord Diavolo. The young master knew how unpredictable your powers were and yet he still asked you to use them.
And he was the most mad at Solomon. Though, that was a grudge he had been holding onto for a while. Barbatos was always looking for a reason to be mad at Solomon.
And your lack of control in magic certainly qualified as one.
Solomon had been entrusted with teaching you magic since he was supposed to be a great and knowledgeable sorcerer.
But, Barbatos was beginning to doubt Solomonâs abilities.
And, since your magic had nearly gotten the young master killed, Barbatos could no longer let this slide.
Barbatos had invited you over to the Demon Lordâs Castle once again to try and teach you magic his way.
He was a very powerful demon himself and he knew how hard it was to control your powers.
It took him a long time and lots of experience before he was fully able to master his own powers.
And you had to admit, out of everyone, Barbatos had come the closest to getting you to perform magic without anything going wrong.
He had put every ounce into helping you concentrate and take slow, deliberate movements so that every single part of the spell was performed correctly.
It was a transfiguration spell. There was a cat statue in front of you and all you had to do was make it real.
But, when you opened your eyes, you realized the horror and chaos that you had created.
There wasnât just one creature in front of you, but at least a dozen. And, they werenât cats but rats. And there in the middle of it all sat Barbatos, his eyes wide and crazed.
You were certain he was about to freak out and you were proven correct as Barbatos suddenly stood up and sprinted out of the room, returning with the proper supplies to get rid of the rats.
He was frantically chasing them around the room and you felt terrible, so you attempted to help him.
You wanted to teleport the rats to the underground labyrinth but instead, you teleported yourself and Barbatos down there.
âAt least I got the right location this time,â you said sheepishly as you looked at Barbatos who had a somewhat exasperated look on his face.
Before you knew what was happening, Barbatos had you locked down in his room, you presumed so that you couldnât do any more damage.
It took him hours to get every last rat out of the castle and when he finally did, he returned to you in his room.
He seemed much calmer now that the rats were gone and he even brought you some tea to apologize for locking you in his bedroom.
He promised that he would help you get better control of your powers, but no more transfiguration spells until you completely mastered them.
Simeon had seen you at Purgatory Halls many times since you went there a lot for your magic lessons with Solomon.
But, Simeon rarely listened in on your lessons or watched you perform magic, so he had no idea if it was going well or poorly.
He assumed things were going well since there were no accidents that happened at Purgatory Hall.
But, that was mostly because when you went there, Solomon had you reading spell books and getting familiar with different types of spells.
He saved the actual practice of magic for the classrooms at school or outdoor areas - somewhere he believed it would be okay for a mishap to happen.
So, how was Simeon supposed to know your magic was unpredictable?
Lukeâs birthday was coming up and Simeon wanted to surprise him by baking a special cake since Luke loved all things sweet.
Simeon knew how to bake a simple cake, but he didnât think that would be enough.
He wanted something more extravagant - something that would surprise Luke.
So, he enlisted your help and asked you to help him bake the cake.
Simeon believed with your powers and his baking ability, the two of you could bake something that would truly surprise Luke.
And thatâs what you thought about the entire time. In your mind, you wanted to surprise him by possibly creating a cake that reminded him of the Celestial Realm or one of his favorite things.
So, you were really disappointed when the cake came out looking like just an ordinary cake.
Simeon reassured you that it was fine and that you did your best. He promised you that it would taste great and Luke would love it anyway.
Everyone gathered in the Assembly Hall after school as a makeshift party for Luke and Simeon brought the cake before running off to fetch him.
The others complimented the cake that you and Simeon made and you thanked them kindly without giving them any more details.
After the experiences you and all of them had with your magic, you were sure that they would be afraid of any cake that was made with your magic.
So, you figured it would be better not to tell them about it. Besides, the cake came out completely normal, so no harm no foul, right?
Luke came into the Assembly Hall a bit timidly, afraid of why he was being summoned to a room full of the Devildomâs most powerful demons.
But, as he looked around, he quickly understood what was happening.
The smile on his face as he now confidently walked up to the rest of you was enough to make baking the cake worth it and you proudly presented him with the cake.
Everyone wished Luke a happy birthday and then you lit the candles and told him to make a wish and blow them out.
Luke did as he was told, but when he blew the candles out, he was met with disaster as the cake exploded.
Everyone in the room, including you, and most of the furniture was coated in both the cake and its frosting and other miscellaneous toppings.
You stood there, still holding the plate the cake was on and you realized that your powers did have an effect on the cake.
âSurprise,â you weakly said as everyone turned to face you. A deep blush coated your cheeks at the mistake, but thankfully, the cake hid most of it.
You sat down the plate that you were holding and attempted to fix the situation by using magic, but Solomon stopped you and performed the spell himself.
He knew that you could fix the situation if you were given the chance, but the look in Luciferâs eyes after being covered in cake gave Solomon the feeling that he was about to lose it.
So, he performed the spell himself for your sake and miraculously the cake managed to come off the furniture.
Everyone had to go home to get the cake off themselves and you decided to go to Purgatory Hall with the angels and Solomon. You felt terrible about ruining Lukeâs birthday cake.
Once you were all cleaned up, Simeon apologized for making you use your powers and explained that he didnât realize they were a bit unpredictable.
He felt like he pressured you to use them but once you reassured him that you wanted to help do something nice, a lot of the weight was lifted off his shoulders.
He offered to bring you some books on magic from the Celestial Realm, hoping that there would be some different information in them that might help you learn to control your powers.
As for Luke, he didnât understand why you had baked him an exploding cake, but he wasnât angry and he was definitely surprised.
He just wished he had been able to eat a piece before it exploded everywhere.
Solomon had been hearing an earful from almost everyone about your magic training.
No one seemed to think he was doing a good enough job at helping you control your magic.
But they didnât realize how hard it was to train someone in magic, let alone someone who was as powerful as you.
A lot of people thought that the unpredictable consequences of using your magic were mistakes but Solomon thought differently.
He thought it was a good thing for you to experience all the goods and bads of your magic.
It was the only way you were going to get a full grasp of your abilities and how powerful you were.
Solomon loved being experimental when it came to magic.
He didnât give you spell books to read from or give you specific instructions on how to perform a spell.
If he did, then you would become dependent on those things, unable to perform a successful spell without wanting to refer to a book first.
Solomon wanted you to be able to figure things out for yourself - to be able to perform magic on your own without needing help from someone else, or a spell book.
And he always looked on the bright side of things if something did go wrong.
So what if you turned the cat statue into rats instead of a real cat? At least you were able to do a transfiguration spell.
And maybe you teleported the entire Demonâs Lord Castle to a few different places you didnât mean to; but, most sorcerers have a hard time doing teleportation spells on themselves, let alone something so big.
Everything you did and every consequence that may have come from it was all a testament to your powers and it always made Solomon proud.
Because of the incessant lectures from the others, Solomon would do his best to help you control your powers.
But, heâll never treat your mishaps as something negative. In fact, sometimes he even encouraged them.
There was one time that a potion you had been making accidentally backfired on Solomon rendering him unable to speak properly.
Every time he spoke, his words would get jumbled together so he couldnât reverse the spell himself or tell you how to do it.
Eventually, you had to go to Satan to help and although he agreed, he gave Solomon a long âI told you soâ conversation about how this is why he needed to be more proactive in helping you control your powers.
That was the closest Solomon ever came to being âupsetâ about something that happened with your magic, but even then it was just because of Satanâs speech.
There has never been a day where Solomon wasnât grateful that he got the opportunity to teach you though.
Not only did he enjoy getting the chance to grow closer to you, but he had never met someone with such magic potential.

Thinking about Culinary Wizard MC who basically the reverse of Solomon.
They emphatically do not know Devildom any cuisine in any way, but whenever they step into the kitchen they can throw whatever together and it all just works.
Levi says that they just cook on vibes alone. Half the time they don't even know what they're using. They'll sniff at things in the fridge, then pour a random sauce they find onto their dish that miraculously makes it delicious.
Any demon watching them would have a heart attack after seeing them pour what could be the Devildom equivalent of marshmallow fluff on a sirloin, but it somehow, it turns into a 5-star meal once they're done. It should never work as well as it does.
Solomon can even join them in the kitchen because their good cooking is so powerful it cancels out his bad cooking.
Barbatos wants to study them in a lab. He's brought them to the Castle numerous times and each ends in frustration...
~~~~~~~~~
MC: *stirring a pot on one of the several stove-tops in the Castle*
MC: Okay, Barbs. Hand me that purple thing!
Barbatos: *trying not to die inside as he has already watched them drop 3 random fruits and 12 roots into whatever concoction they have cooking up*
Barbatos: MC, are you sure this... dish would benefit from fresh midnightroot? It's so savory that it might-
MC: Barbs.
MC: What did I tell you? When I'm in the kitchen...
Barbatos: ... We must trust the process...
MC: Exactly. Now that purple thing, please.
*One increasingly concerning cooking demonstration later*
MC: *sniffs at the pot and nods approvingly before handing Barbatos a spoon to taste*
MC: Done!
Barbatos: *looks at the pot warily but dips the spoon into the, now purple, creation that has about the consistency of a pie filling*
Barbatos: *tastes the spoon*
Barbatos: ......
Barbatos: *holds his head in his hands, awash with frustration and defeat*
Barbatos: It's... delectable....
They cannot keep getting away with this...
School Play
Thereâs another school play in which you act as the main lead because Simeon thought youâd be perfect for the role, thereâs no need to cast anyone else (much to Asmoâs dismay). Heâs seen your performances before, and youâre one of the easiest actors to work with compared to the brothers that constantly got their lines wrong during rehearsals. Simeon can get frustrated, and it seems that the brothers feel the same way, if not terrified of the angelâs sudden change in attitude as soon as he plays the director. Youâre just relieved heâs not that way towards you.
Of course, who wouldnât want to see a play written by Christopher Peugeot himself. The theme was a thrilling love story wherein the hero would have to go through a long journey to rescue the one they love, which was you. They would meet so many characters that would either support the hero or become an obstacle on his way to defeat the cruel lord that locked you up.Â
Youâre the main love interest, and you sat on the side watching as everyone else in the room debated and fought each other on why they should have the main lead role, why they should be the hero who would rescue you. Seeing as how the atmosphere in the room is starting to have murderous intent, Simeon finally thought of a solution that would be fair to everyone. Draw lots.Â
Thatâs how you ended up with Solomon as your hero, and Barbatos acting as the main villain and the rest playing a support role. They either help Solomon with the journey or act as one of Barbatosâ minions to try to stop him from his advances. Everyone could only blame their luck, though to say that Solomon was happy about his part is an understatement. Meanwhile, Barbatos does adore the parts where he keeps you all to himself, however he does not enjoy the scene where he had to terrorize a town since Diavoloâs character, a commoner (which he loves to play), is one of the victims that the hero finds which eventually sets the tone of the play to move forward. It takes a lot for Barbatos not to run to his masterâs side while he was acting out his death.
Solomon is always ready to rehearse his scenes with you, and when itâs about lines talking about you, Simeon is impressed at how quickly he can memorize them. But then again, if theyâre all about how much he adores you then itâs not difficult to remember at all. Lucifer and the others hate playing supporting characters where they have to hear about how much Solomon loves you. Itâs bad enough they had to play the role of helping him, but there are several minutes of dialogue with his character telling them how important you are to him and how he needs to find you quickly! It took several practice rehearsals for Mammon to say his lines without sounding so forced or annoyed at him when his role is to literally help Solomon through the journey.Â
Levi is quite happy with his role as the costume designer because thereâs no way his envy wouldnât flare up if he had to stand there and listen to that. That wouldâve flooded the stage if he lost all control, so he decides to use headphones and blast music when itâs Solomonâs scene and only take it off once itâs you.
Satan would play the role of the narrator, and while he normally enjoys the part he got, itâs quite irritating that he has to tell the love story between you two, even if itâs merely a work of fiction. His claws threatened to tear holes into the script, but he kept himself calm and collected. They decided to put a leather cover binding to avoid that happening, and Satan actually likes how his own personal script looks like a book now.Â
Lucifer is questioning why Simeon would write such a piece, given how most lines are so sickening and romantic. The angel wanted to tell a tale of lovers that could overcome everything, though he omits the fact that he really did have you in mind when he was writing this. Maybe he projected a little too much of his feelings, but the play still had more elements regardless that a lot of the audience would be able to enjoy. The action, the drama, and the tension that could keep everyone at the edge of their seats.Â
What Simeon did not expect is for the brotherâs self control to snap. Maybe he shouldâve thought about that when he wrote down that kiss scene. Itâs a page he kept between you and Solomon, as he knew that rehearsals wouldâve been a disaster if they knew how the story would actually end. Of course he did ask for your permission, if this is something youâre comfortable with and he would rewrite the part if he needed. You donât mind, and you understand why this was kept private.Â
So when the day of the play came, everything was going smoothly. At least according to Simeonâs high standards.
Solomon and Barbatos really do seem to play the perfect role. A good villain doesn't need to yell, it comes with the composure they bring in the story that sometimes people wonder if Barbatos is really acting. The fight scenes were also phenomenal whenever Solomon would use some sort of imagery magic to make it more realistic, sparkes and effects flying in the air as they fought until Barbatos eventually fled, claiming defeat but he will be back for you one day.Â
What the brothers thought was a successful play became something they dreaded when you and Solomon continued the scene. These were lines theyâve never heard before, and it doesnât take a genius to guess where this was heading. Satan is furiously flipping through the script trying to see where this was coming from, but this part was hidden from the Avatars on purpose.Â
âOh how I longed to hold you like this in my arms.â Solomon says as he pulls you in an embrace that lingered longer than the brothers would like while they watched from backstage.Â
âDid you truly miss me that much?â You say, meant to be a half tease to the hero as you returned the hug. Itâs a romantic reunion that the audience has been waiting for.Â
âMore than you could ever think.â Solomon sounds so convincing. He says his lines as if you two were truly apart for so long, that thereâs disbelief in his voice like this was all a dream and he would wake up to find that his journey is not over, that you were still locked away. But he has you in his arms, and thatâs all he needs to ground himself. âEach time I see the crescent moon, Iâm reminded of the smile that graced your lips. It pains me whenever I turn to my side and realize that youâre werenât with me.â
Solomon brushes the hair away from your face before cupping your cheek, looking at you so lovingly that you feel your heart skip a beat, almost forgetting that youâre acting out a scene. But to the sorcerer, he doesnât need to act. âTell me, will you grace me with those lips?â He asks, and thatâs the cue for you to slowly lean forward to seal the deal.Â
âHOLD IT!âÂ
Both if you freeze before turning back to see Mammon pointing the sword prop at Solomon. The sorcerer is confused, and perhaps a little irritated that his moment with you was ruined. It wouldâve been a perfect way to end the play. âWhat are you doing?â Solomon asks with furrowed brows.Â
âThatâs my line! Get ya grimy hands off em!â Mammon growled, taking a few steps forward.Â
âYouâre not even supposed to be part of this narrative.â Solomon reminds the demon, warning him for ruining the scene.Â
âYou claim that as so,â Satan says as he appears by his brotherâs side in a puff of green flames, looking quite pissed. âHow dare you rewrite the ending to your liking, and then use the Narrative as your shield. You should be ashamed of yourself, filthy thief.â the demon hissed as he threw the script he fashioned into a book across the stage. The brothers fully believed they were deceived with the script, and that Solomon had something to do with it.
The audience are now all captivated at the scene unfolding before their eyes as they watched the Narrator throw the book across. Perhaps the book told the whole scene, and that Solomon actually rewrote the ending according to his will since they assumed that script was an actual prop to keep the story going. âWas the hero actually manipulating the whole scene?â âWhat a crazy twist!â âWait, so who's the real lover?â âWere they tricked to think that Solomon was the real love interest?!â. Whispers rang in the air as they were all made to believe this was still part of the play
That might be the only way for them to salvage what couldâve been a successful performance: to keep acting. Solomon reluctantly lets go of you before standing up to face the two demons. âI canât believe you all would cause a scene, after all weâve been through. After all theyâve been through.â Solomon says as he gestures to you, who is just as confused as the crowd.Â
âAh, so you acknowledge our efforts and yet you get to keep them for yourself?â Belphie steps in on the other side of the stage, with Beel following behind him. âKinda greedy isnât it? Even greedier than him.â Belphie says while pointing at Mammon. That somehow got the audience to laugh.Â
âThatâs pretty selfish too, and thatâs coming from me!â Asmo finally chimes in, holding onto his tulle costume while he stomps into the stage. He wouldnât let his brothers steal all the spotlight, and there was also no way he was going to let Solomon just kiss you like that on the stage. If it were him instead, you both would be the talk of the week! âHonestly dear, thatâs quite a big low. Even for someone like you.âÂ
Simeon is just thankful that Lucifer and Levi didnât even chime in on this monstrous mess of a show, he has their pride and anxiety (respectively) to thank for. Despite the sudden improv show, it seems that it captured the audienceâs attention⊠just not in the way that he hoped.
Solomon is now putting you behind him with a magic spell flaring by the palm of his hand. Nothing harmful, just something thatâs more flashy than anything. The other demons are closing in on you both, trying to make up lines on why you should choose them. Of course, a fight breaks out and everyone in the audience cheered for whoever they were rooting for to win while you stayed behind and watched the chaos unfold.Â
It took one wrong spell after another for the boys to lay on the ground, groaning after Satan and Solomonâs stun lock spell collided into something bigger that it affected everyone in the stage except you since you stayed behind. You wondered what you could say or do to salvage this as the audience is watching intently on what happens next.Â
Thankfully, Lucifer finally steps on the stage, calm and collected as ever while he tries to avoid the groaning actors. He played as one of the Barbatosâ henchmen that Solomon defeated, so seeing his reappearance was definitely a shock to the crowd. You prayed that Lucifer has a plan on getting you out of this mess without ruining the play you all worked so hard for. Luckily, Simeon told him a few lines that could salvage the play and save you from the embarrassment.
He grabs your hand and kisses the back of it, a small smirk appearing on his face before he continues. âIâm here to collect you, under my masterâs orders. It seems that he was right, that none of these heroes were ever deserving of your heart.â Lucifer says while he stares at his idiotic brothers with discontent, managing to stay in character just like you hoped. âLuckily, we donât need to rely on cheap tricks and underhanded tactics.âÂ
Solomon groans, rubbing his eyes profusely but his vision wonât focus yet due to the spell. âDonât listen to themâŠâ He says, desperately trying to reach out to you. Lucifer only lets out a low chuckle as he watches how pathetic the hero has become.
âCome with us, and weâll be sure to prove them wrong.â His line is full of confidence with a slight mischief, and the crowd cheers as the lights go dark and the curtains drop, signaling the end of the play.Â
What shouldâve ended in a happy love story became some sort of twist. People now assume the hero mightâve manipulated the scene which they find amusing if the good guy of the story was not who they pictured to be, and the villains may actually have a shot of winning your heart. Itâs the talk of the school, and people are praising Simeon for writing such a crazy plot twist, which he finds a little frustrating since itâs the only part he didnât actually plan. Heâs not sure if he wants to thank the brotherâs recklessness or not.Â
Even after Simeon explained the hidden parts that were reserved just for you and Solomon since he expected something like this could happen at the rehearsals, he never really anticipated that they would jump in the scene like that on the actual performance itself. Now he has to write another play in the future as many expressed their wish to see what happens between you and the dark lord Barbatos.Â
Needless to say, many of the brothers were strung upside down by their feet after the show.
The idea of MC being attached to Solomon after they returned from the other timeline will forever be funny to me. It makes sense after all, there was only Solomon who they could confide and depend on during their time in the past. Just imagine how much everyone will be jealous suddenly seeing their human being clingy to the menace of a sorcerer. Guess who's birthing another avatar of envy.
They know that you would settle for anything else other than them, that's how they trained you to be, after all.
"Uhm... Half a million dowry...?" hearing you ask that to your new suitor made them smirk, in fact, MC.
Only half a million? They've gifted you islands, millions and jewels the same value of a town on a random Tuesday, how could you settle for half a million?
"Oh, a date to the Plaza...?" Oh no, they know MC won't settle for that.
They flew you to Italy and rented amusement parks for a random date, a simple Plaza won't satisfy you unless it's title is gifted to you.
Diavolo: What's wrong Mc?
Mc: *resting their head on their hand* Answer me one thing Dia, why do you have wings if you never use them???
Diavolo: Huh??
Barbatos: *serving cookies* Mc is angry because Lucifer has refused to take them flying.
Diavolo: HA HA HA HA.
Mc: A favor, a favor I ask him and he is not able to give me the pleasure.
Diavolo: Oh Mc, Lucifer is too serious to do that kind of thing.
Barbatos: Or maybe he is too shy to do something like that.
Mc: *without listening to them* Then they wonder why Mammon is my favorite.
Stuck in the Nightmare
I really had to think about this prompt because what nightmare could be made worse by a small change? And then I remembered my Obey Me! Phase and how unsettling Barbatos always was to me. And I realized what I had to do.
»»ââââââââ ⥠ââââââââ««
"Good morning, Dear."
Your lips curled into a sleepy smile as you felt Barbatos' lips press against your forehead, a kiss so tender it made you long for more. "Morning," you sighed blissfully, prying an eye open to see your boyfriend in all the glory of the morning sunlight shining through the window.
Moving aside, you made room in the bed for him to climb in, and you wasted no time sinking into his open embrace like you did every morning. No words were needed to speak about the happiness and love you felt when you were wrapped in Barbatos's arms, his time so precious, yet he spent every free second of it with you. And you reciprocated his affection as best as you could, squeezing your demon boyfriend until he chuckled about your efforts while you slowly worked your kisses up his throat and to his mouth.
Life's been better since you got to know him. Since you fell in love. Even if you had to spend most of the day apart due to his work, you were never happier waiting for someone to return to you. Barbatos was worth every minute of boredom, every hour of loneliness. He gave back thrice as much as you lost, wondering when he'd be home that night. Thrice as much effort, thrice as much care, and thrice the amount of true, unashamed love and adoration he held for you that you could never expect from a mere human. Although strange, you were thankful for your boyfriend being a demon, never once worried about all the implications it bore.
"What day is it?" you yawned loudly before nuzzling your face into the crook of his neck. Barbatos brushed his hand over your hair, ever so slightly pressing you against him harder, showing you once again that he wanted you close to him just as much as you, him.
"Sunday, Love. Although it pains me, I'll be busy again today."
His embrace tightened around you a bit further, and it pained you to know how awful he felt about the fact he was too important to get even a single day off. Sometimes you cursed his employer, but Barbatos, gracious as he was, told you how much he cared about the prince you had heard so much aboutâgood and bad. That he was grateful to be the right-hand man of such a great demon. You didn't really get it, but if it made him happy, you wanted to support him, no matter what. Even when it was the last day before you'd have to go back to work, too, and you'd rather spend it with him fully than to miss him like you had all weekend long.
Squeezing him back encouragingly, you nodded into his chest before releasing a long, content breath. "It's fine," you told him, rubbing his back as you felt the tension build in his body from your reply.
"I'm really sorryââ
"It's fine, Barbs. I know this is important to you, and I'm not running away. I'll stay inside today anyway since we're not in the human world, and I have this really good book I want to finish! And we can have dinner together or go star-gazing when you get home!
Immediately upon hearing your reassurance, Barbatos let out a shuddering breath. "I can't hide anything from you. Thank you for being so understanding."
"Of course!" Letting your head fall back, you caught his gaze, so full of tenderness and love, and felt your heart swell with the same wave of emotions. The kiss you shared was worth more than any confession and any thanksâmutual understanding, trust, a silent vow.
His hands brushed down your body, over the curve of your butt, giving it a squeeze that made you giggle against his lips. You gently scolded him for getting frisky with you before he had to leave. Barbatos couldn't help the playfulness in his voice as he promised, "I'll make it up to you and get your favorite food for you before I get to have a taste of my favorite thing in the world."
"Oh, you," you retorted, but the fake annoyance was quickly diminished by another kiss, your bodies heating up wherever they touched, making it harder and harder to get away while stoking the desire inside of you.
"I really got to go," Barbatos huffed against your lips, and you hesitated before pushing on his chest to separate you both.
"Then off with you, stop seducing me in broad daylight!"
He realized you were just joking around with him, yet, with another yearning glance, he briefly pecked your lips before tearing away, leaving an uncomfortable cold where he laid.
"I'll hurry," he assured you, and you smiled, sitting up in the bed. Truthfully, you already missed him, but you knew it was important to him, and so it was important to you.
"I know, don't worry about me."
"Thank you, Love."
With one last kiss to your forehead, Barbatos grabbed his coat on the way out, waving at you with an almost boyish grin. It was a side only you got to see, a side no one would expect from mysterious Barbatos. The real, vulnerable him, he could only show you. It made you feel special. You were special.
"I love you!" you yelled after him, and before he closed the door, he stuck his head through once more, beaming.
"I love you, too."
With that, he was gone, and you were alone in his home. Falling back into the cushions, you pulled the blanket and pillows around you, still faintly smelling Barbatos on them as they enveloped you in warmth.
Who would have thought you could love someone so much, especially someone not human? Sure, it sucked being stuck alone in the Devildom, but it would all be worth it when you got him all to yourself for the whole night again. A tingle went through your body, right to your core, where you still remembered the pleasure he had given you the night before. You could still recall the gentle, loving words he had whispered into your ear while, at the same time, making you see stars by probing and teasing the most sensitive spots on your body.
He wasn't just your boyfriend you doubted you deserved; Barbatos was also a lover beyond any imagination. Thrashing in the sheets, you couldn't believe your luck that someone like Barbatos loved you. That someone so amazing, wonderful, caring, and loving was yours. Because that's what he liked to call himself.
Yours.
All yours, with body and mind, for all eternity, devoted and reverently.
Your eyes filled up as the happiness overwhelmed you, the worries and agony of the past almost forgotten in the warm sunlight of the Devildom. Barbatos told you to stay indoors unless he was with you, and you couldn't wait for the day he'd take you outside and show you his city in all its beauty. Surely, with him by your side, nothing bad would happen to you, and you two would have the most exquisite experiences.
But that was a thing for another weekend.
Today would be a wonderful day of reading and waiting. Waiting for your Barbatos to return.
Slipping out of bed, you reached for the book on your nightstand, only for your fingers to hit the wood instead of the soft cover. "Strange..." you mumbled, vividly remembering putting the book right there on the nightstand. Or did you? Why did you remember reading in it before going to bed when it wasn't there?
Did you read it?
Looking over to the coffee table, you found your book sitting there. You suddenly remembered how you were reading on the couch the night before, then Barbatos coming home and taking you to bed after you had your favorite food.
"And I was reading on the couch because... it was Sunday. Huh?"
Didn't Barbatos say today was Sunday? You usually read your book in bed throughout the week, one chapter before bed being your credo. Taking the book over to the couch was something you only did on Sundays when you had no commitments and could fully concentrate on reading.
But why did you remember putting the book on your nightstand and reading it all day yesterday at the same time? That wasn't possible. Your own memories were betraying you!
"Ow!" a sudden, sharp pain rattled in your brain as you tried to make sense of your thoughts. It made you clutch your head as you collapsed on the bed, pulling in your legs as the pain began to overwhelm you. Something was wrong! You had to call Barbatos; call for help!
But you couldn't move as images flashed before your eyes, images of you laughing with your boyfriend, reading, having your favorite food. Again and again and again. The image of you putting the book on your nightstand was the most off-putting but real one you saw. You had no idea what was going on, but it hurt terribly. You couldn't even open your eyes from the pain, so all you could do was pray.
Barbatos's name was the last thing falling from your lips as you were knocked out by your own thoughtsâyour own memories. Memories of many days having passed by, all of them the exact same. And they haunted you, even in your dreams, with no chance of waking up without the man who loved you to shake you awake. Telling you everything was okay and it was just a bad dream.
Stuck in your own nightmares, never knowing you had been for a long, long time.
»»ââââââââ ⥠ââââââââ««
"The how-many-Sunday is it today?"
"I'm sorry?" Barbatos looked up from the teacup he was pouring, only to find Diavolo watching him from beyond the rim of the report he was holding. The prince's eyes were sharp, almost unamused in how they scrutinized his butler.
"You heard me." Lowering the paper, Diavolo made space for the tea to be served, which Barbatos did without hesitation. "This new exchange student project is based on trust with the other races. How can I explain why I let my butler keep his personal human toy in a constant time loop, locked up forever in my castle, while I preach about harmony and equality? And besides, don't you think they need some time in the real sun for once? I heard it's bad for humans to be cooped up for so long. Longer than possible with their physic, at least."
"Young Master, you are mistaken. The human is my partner, we love each other. Nothing as sinister as you are hinting at is happening."
"Then why repeat the same day over and over? Do you really think I wouldn't know what the constant thrumming of magic in the room I have given you on your request to 'educate the staff' is? I'd wager to say we've known each other long enough to know about each other's dirty secrets, Barbatos."
Standing before him, Barbatos maintained his perfect posture and pristine look, paired with a smile on his face, as he watched his master sip from the tea he had prepared. "Very well, my lord. You are not entirely mistaken, although I must say..."
Tapping his chin thoughtfully, Barbatos pretended to think about something before the smile returned to his lips. A smile said more than a thousand words, and although he only wanted you to see his, Barbatos had to keep up the front.
"If we are talking about preferential treatment, shouldn't you be the first one to give up on their highness, the consort that none of your subjects know about? I feel unfairly judged, considering my amusement loves and adores me, while yours plays the part but fears you. Don't you think we'd be better off keeping these two our own responsibility?"
Diavolo's glare was deafening as the room fell into silence. He'd expected the blowback, although his concern for Barbatos's darling was justified after his own experiences. Lowering the teacup, he sighed, giving a short nod of defeat. A wise ruler knew when to back down, and although the circumstances hadn't been ideal, his beloved was the reason he wanted to unite the races in the first place
"Very well, I won't nag you," Diavolo announced. "Just make sure they don't realize the time loop, or else you know the mess it will cause. We've been through this. Sometimes, it's better not to pretend the world is fine. If they truly love you as you say, they'll love you regardless, even when they realize that the love of a demon can be overwhelming."
"61685."
"Hm?"
"That's how many days they've loved me. I loved them. This time, I won't fail my duties, Young Master. At least, not how I have to you."
Barbatos bowed, as Diavolo couldn't help the sad smile flitting over his face, remembering the wonderful days when his darling had still adored him, never knowing they were stuck in a repeat.
"Then, be careful, Barbatos. One small mistake, and they'll realize nothing was ever real. You better not fail... for their sake."
Taking the advice of the experienced prince, Barbatos returned to his righteous posture, smiling as if the conversation had been petty small talk. The life of a demon was longâit was longer when they were alone. But now that he had you, he'd never have to suffer the same loneliness that had driven so many of his kin mad.
"I will, Young Master. Thank you for the advice."
He didn't pity Diavolo, who had long lost his heart to the most pitiful of creaturesâa human who realized the true monstrosity beneath the prince's forced gentleness. But Barbatos wouldn't let it come to this a second time. Wouldn't make the same mistake Diavolo had, misplacing one item which managed to break the spell. He had been too careful, too precise this time.
He wouldn't lose you to such a small mistake, and even if he did...
He'd keep you forever, even if that meant breaking your soul into a thousand pieces until only his love could keep you together.
Note: OOC, Himbo Dia
Playing Monopoly with Diavolo. When he lands on your hotel instead of paying with his in game currency, he pulls out his wallet which is as thick as his bakery and pays you with actual Grimm.
Never play Monopoly with both Diavolo and Mammon đ
Barbatos either watches in amusement or stops him. Depends on the player I guess đ
He doesn't say shit when It's Diavolo and MC but immediately stops the young master when it's him and Mams
